Online beauty retailer Lookfantastic is offering a 'Grooming Edit'* set for £45 delivered, which could be ideal if you want to buy a Father's Day gift. It contains seven grooming items including big brands such as Jo Malone, Aveda, Clinique, Rituals and more – see below for the full list.

Lookfantastic reckons the contents are worth £145, though our calculations show you could buy the items separately for about £110.

Delivery usually takes 2-3 days, so bear that in mind if you want it to arrive by Father's Day.

Online beauty retailer Lookfantastic is offering a 'Summer Beauty Bag'* set for £45 delivered, and we've blagged an extra £5 off when you enter the code LF5MSE at checkout until Sunday 31 May – making the set £40 all-in.

Lookfantastic reckons the contents are worth over £140 if bought separately, though our calculations show you could buy the items for about £116 when factoring in current sales (and excluding the make-up bag).

We suspect this set will be popular with MoneySavers, so if you want this, it's best to go quick. Lookfantastic wouldn't tell us how many sets are available, but did say it's 1,000s of bags.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
